Stone-ground Grits are ground the identical way our ancestors ground them 170 many years in the past. The grind processes all the flavors and the textures that gave original grits their track record. For extra creamy grits, use 1 cup grits, four cups milk, 1 cup water, ¼ pound butter, 1 teaspoon salt, one teaspoon program ground pepper. Add all substances and carry to boil. Reduce heat and stir often for 20 to thirty minutes.
