I am buying this bread for about a decade, I am a German immigrant - this is my daily source of nutricious fibres and nutty flavor, very satisfying. I usually buy this at a local grocery store, but they have been out for week due to supply chain issues, so I had to divert to Amazon’s source. It is a bid overpriced here (about $1/pack) but manageable until my store has it on the shelves again. This bread has natural preservatives and lasts 12month in my pantry. This box of twelve will last me 6 weeks tops.

I cannot stop eating this bread, it is so tasty, especially toasted. It is crumbly indeed, but it is the nature of rye breads. I toast it in the toaster oven for 5 or 6 minutes until the nuts start to look golden brown, and then let the bread cool for a couple of minutes. After this treatment the bread is much less likely to fall apart, and tastes great.
